Nick started out helping in his Dad’s paint store (Modern Paint) when he was 12. He worked at the Paint Pot for 7 years before joining Maine Paint in 2011. His philosophy is to create a clean, fun, positive working environment. “When you make work a little more fun, it keeps people engaged and they tend to enjoy what they are doing”.
Kevin started painting in High School to make money to take his girlfriend out. His best friends’ father was facility manager @ Stanford University, so he moon- lighted on the weekends with them. After dropping out of college, he joined the U.S. Navy for many years, “Everyone’s second job is painting in the Navy”. He ran painting crews in Southern California for 4 years doing Oceanside condos and homes. Owner of the Benjamin Moore store for 21 years in Windham. Now in the “Major Leagues” with Jonson Paint South Portland.
Thomas A. Wood aka “Woody”
Retired from the Military after 20 years as a surgery technician medic, previously was the building manager and on the safety board for tac command. Managed the sporting goods department, then became manager of paint and hardware for K-mart. He was an Assistant Manager in paint with Home Quarters. Woody has worked with Maine Paint for 20 years so far. He enjoys feeding the animals – Birds and squirrels love him.
Neil Morang, Sales Associate
A retired mechanical engineer, Neil has been with Maine Paint for 11 years. He enjoys woodworking, building, painting, and restoration.
Cameron Bickford, Sales Associate
Cameron has been working for Maine Paint since February of 2018. “I have been exposed to the company and the paint business since I was a kid as my grandfather (Charlie Bickford) has worked for the company for over 20 years. I enjoy working for this store because we’re very positive and always looking for ways to improve the customer and employee experience”. Outside of work Cameron enjoys music, mostly rock from the 60’s and 70’s and likes to explore, and see new things. “I’ve been across the country twice on a greyhound and it was the best few days of my life. I plan to travel a lot someday. Meantime, I’m working for Maine Paint and loving it every day”.
