Benjamin Moore Achieves The Top Spot In J.D. Power
and Associates Study For Two Years In A Row.
It was just a year ago that the fabled brand made the trusted listing, and in retaining its spot for 2012, it outperformed 13 other paint brands, receiving an index score of 790 on a 1,000-point scale. Moreover, Benjamin Moore was cited for performing particularly well in three of the study factors: application, offerings and durability. Now in its sixth year, the J.D. Power and Associates consumer study on interior paint satisfaction was based on more than 8,000 respondents who purchased and applied interior paint within the previous 12 months.
“It’s a tremendous honor to receive this esteemed recognition for the second year in a row,” said CEO of Benjamin Moore & Co. “The voice of the consumer has spoken through J.D. Power and Associates, and we are grateful to know that our company-wide dedication to producing an incomparable-performance paint is so widely acknowledged and appreciated.” Benjamin Moore topped the brand rankings of the study’s inaugural release in 2007, and since then the company has significantly grown its product portfolio to include some of the “greenest” interior paint formulations sold in North America. Aura®, a low-VOC paint, and zero-VOC Natura® paint disprove myths that sustainability sacrifices performance. It is performance, according to the study, that impacts customer loyalty.
